Bright Angel, Arizona 1903

This USGS map is in incredible condition and depicts the most dramatic topography of the Grand Canyon. In 1903, aerial surveys hadn’t been used yet so this piece incorporates the work of John Wesley Powell, the first leader of the US Geological Survey.
